We're doing really well, happy to be back on the mainland (although I do miss hawaii... how can you not?), and love spending time with all of the family we have around. Sofia lights up everytime I tell her she gets to see her cousins.
Here are a bunch of pictures, hope you enjoy them.
This was our last day in Hawaii, our last sunset. I like this first picture because you see the palm tree's reflection on the sting ray...
Back in California! Nana brushing Sofia's hair
My sister Cassie's 27th birthday- in this picture she is about five months pregnant. We celebrated at Oceanside beach, but it was actually pretty cold.
Sofia and Ryder
Andrew riding his boogie board
This is a picture I took in my mom's backyard. I just think it's cool, even though it has nothing to do with anything else. :)
On August 18th, Sofia turned two. Nana and I took her to the San Diego Zoo, which is nothing like anywhere she has been before (ie, honolulu zoo). She LOVES pandas now, and carries her stuffed panda everywhere, which is a big deal because she has never had a "lovey" besides her paci. She loved the koala bears too, which she had never seen before. Well, I think actually *I* loved the koala bears the most, since that's my nickname for Sofia.
in front of the panda exhibit
Sofia hugging the statue, still sweet as ever.
Pictures from Sofia's birthday party that we had at the house... and yes, I dressed her in a fairy costume, but I thought it was cute! And really, if you can't wear a fairy dress to your own birthday party, then where can you?
Buying "sofia" champagne is a tradition I started last year.
Uncle Josh and Auntie Cassie
So many presents!
cousins Ryder and Jenna
Her first power wheel
Andrew was very helpful with the candle!
This was just last week, fingerpainting with Andrew and Ryder at Nana's house
And later having lunch with Ryder and Jordyn!
Well, that's it! I didn't get any pictures of Talyon's birthday because we went out to dinner to celebrate (a buffet, of course- Tal's favorite!), and I forgot my camera. :(
